1. Carry out and organize implementation of the national industrial policies, investigate and find out their implementation situation and offer timely feedback. 2. Organize the framing of the industrial development layout citywide, and supervise its conduction. 3. Organize drafting the municipal code and regulations of the industrial economic management, and supervise and inspect their conduction situation. 4. Assume the administrative reconsideration and appeal response. 5. Organize the management of the enterprises' legal consultation, instruct the law consultants in boosting the legal-system construction of the enterprises. 6. Supervise the comprehensive survey of the citywide industrial economy, and assume the daily routine of the city industrial economic seminar. 7. Draft the important comprehensive documents and reports, and participate in drafting and modifying the single-item policy documents. 8. Cooperate in constituting and conducting the schemes of industry layout and structure adjustment. 9. Undertake other items commissioned by the MEC.
